While the United States of America may not have a modern day Adolph Hitler trying to control the minds of our people, we certainly face a segment of our population who would like to build a "new community" without God. Their mindset is "Let us control the information and the means by which information is distributed and we can control this Nation." There is no level to which they won't sink.
From the Great Commission, in Matthew 28:19-20, to the words of the apostle Paul to Timothy, in 2 Timothy 4:1-2, God has expected his people to be the ones who stop the mouths of those who would oppose him by speaking the pure, unadulterated truth.
