Brad Harrub holds an earned B.S. degree in biology from Kentucky Wesleyan College, and an earned doctorate degree in anatomy and neurobiology from the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He was listed in Who’s Who Among Scientists and Researchers. He is the coauthor of the books, The Truth About Human Origins, Investigating Christian Evidences, Matters of Life and Death, Diamonds in the Rough: Nuggets of Truth from God’s Word and has written many tracts and articles for brotherhood journals. He is a popular speaker on Christian evidences at lectureships, youth rallies, etc in over 45 states and five different continents. He conducts 40 “Truth About Origins” weekend seminars each year. In addition, he was an invited speaker to the International conference on Creationism, and he has appeared on the television show “Origins.”
Dr. Harrub has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications in science journals and has done mission work in Russia, Ukraine, New Zealand, and Nicaragua. Currently, Dr. Harrub serves as the Director and cofounder of Focus Press and as co-editor of Think magazine, a monthly magazine on Christian evidences. He and his wife Melinda attend the Woodson Chapel Church of Christ in Nashville, TN. They have four children: Will (8), Reese (6), Claire (3), and Luke (9 months).

A Time For Focus
God’s word is the most powerful force on earth. It encourages, strengthens, corrects, and offers the way of salvation for God’s crowning creation - Mankind. But, it all begins by renewing our minds.
At Focus Press, we desire all people everywhere to come a full understanding, of true Christianity. Unfortunately, there is much confusion when it comes to the world of religion. Focus Press was formed to publish materials based on the inspired Word of God. Resources that are designed to provide understanding and clarity when it comes to issues that are, quite frankly, sometimes very difficult to comprehend.
That’s why we began publishing Think magazine in January of 2006. Why such an unusual title for a Christian magazine? Our ultimate goal is to provide reasonable answers for those who are seeking the truth. Think deals with difficult topics such as, stem cell research, intelligent design, cloning, abortion, homosexuality and other social issues that affect us as we live in an increasingly perplexed society. There are regular departments that will deal with practical ways to pass our faith to the next generation, how to incorporate our faith into daily living, issues that are unique to women, how to be good stewards of our blessings, and a host of other regular columns designed to strengthen those who are already committed to living for Christ.

Darwin's "Origin of Species" -- 150 years of Monkey Business

November represents the 150th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s book Origin of Species. The November issue of Think is dedicated to whether man was created in the image of God or evolved from some ape-like creature. Once again we are making Powerpoint presentations available for preachers and teachers in an effort to combat the godless worldview of Darwinian evolution. In addition to the lesson we posted in February we have added a new one titled “Was Darwin Wrong?”
We encourage our readers to use these to help promote the truth! They are completely free of charge—no strings attached.
In addition, the new book Convicted: A Scientist Examines the Evidence for Christianity is “in house” and ready to ship out. This new comprehensive Christian evidence book is filled with great material to combat the errors of evolution. This is a comprehensive book on Christian evidences that provides the evidence for “why we believe what we believe”. The book was professionally laid-out, and was printed in full-color throughout. It contains multiple pictures, graphs, and tables to make it easy to understand. We have already sold more than 1,200 copies, and have only had it in-house for one week!
